Berbee buys Appleton IT firm
Madison, Wis. — Berbee Information Networks Corporation, a privately held IT firm, said it has acquired Appleton-based Strategies & Solutions LLC for an undisclosed sum.
Berbee said it expects to keep all 16 employees of the other firm, bringing it to about 630 employees in all. Strategies & Solutions provides hardware, software and services built around IBM's iSeries line of business servers.
Berbee has regional offices throughout the Midwest region, some of them established through acquisitions. Last year, for example, saw Berbee acquire Cleveland and Wausau companies. The firm's enterprise data centers are in Madison and Minneapolis.
Working with global partners including Cisco, Microsoft and IBM, Berbee has interests in outsourced data storage as well as applications and other services.
