MyWeather names new president, marketing officer

Madison, Wis. - MyWeather LLC has named Kevin Baird as president and Landi Landi as chief marketing officer.

Baird went to Carleton College and began his career working in public affairs for former Wisconsin Governor Martin Schreiber. He has served as vice resident of sales and operations for Renaissance Learning, a major K-12 technology company; vice president of sales and marketing for Achieve3000, a web-based content provider; as well as executive positions in health care and retailing.

Landi holds a master's degree from Harvard University and is CEO of Lucid Strategies Inc., a pre-IPO corporate-identity and marketing company. With over 25 years experience as a senior sales and marketing executive, he has served as EVP of International Data Group and chief marketing officer of Internet search engine LookSmart. He also was CEO of Redband Broadcasting, a Sony subsidiary.

MyWeather LLC provides weather data and services for Internet sites and other electronic networks. Their clientele include hundreds of newspaper Web-sites and TV-station sites as well as individual users of both their free and paid services.
