Bone Care, GenTel, MyWeather

The sale of Bone Care International for $600 million to Massachusetts based Genzyme Corporation is underway as their operations are immediately being integrated into Genzymes Renal Business unit. Meanwhile GenTel BioSurfaces will receive a $250,000 loan from the Department of Commerce Technology Venture Fund Program to create 5 new jobs and retain others. On another note, Madison’s MyWeather, a provider of weather data and services for Internet sites and other media has named Kevin Baird as president and Landi Landi as chief marketing officer.
