GenTel will sell Dutch firm's biomolecule labeling technology

Madison, Wis. -- GenTel BioSurfaces, Inc., of Madison has been licensed to sell a Dutch company's non-enzymatic labeling technology for biomolecules and labeling agents, GenTel announced on Tuesday.

GenTel will market and sell the Universal Linkage System labeling reagents of Kreatech Biotechnology BV of Amsterdam, under its brand name Pandeia in diverse kit formats. The kits are validated for use on GenTel's PATH protein microarray technology platform and will be launched during the upcoming Chips to Hits conference in Boston on Sept. 12.

Under a sub-licensing agreement with Kreatech, GenTel will also sell protein-detecting fluorescent dyes from Dynomics GmbH of Jena, Germany.

GenTel BioSurfaces deals in protein microarray technologies and delivers multiplex assays.
