Customers Rate Epic as Best Overall Vendor in Healthcare for Seventh Consecutive Time

MADISON, WI - KLAS Enterprises, a research and consulting firm
based in Draper, UT, named Epic Systems Corporation “Best Overall Vendor” in its Top 20 Year-end Report Card. The study, which included 200 vendors, was based on a confidential survey of CIOs, executives, managers, and clinicians representing over 4,000 healthcare facilities.

KLAS specializes in monitoring and reporting the performance of healthcare's information technology (HIT) vendors and releases its Top 20 assessments of the healthcare IT vendor market twice a year.

Commenting on the company's success in the KLAS rankings, Epic CEO Judy
Faulkner said, "KLAS makes it their business to talk to real customers.
They perform a valuable service as the 'consumer reports' of healthcare
software." Faulkner added, "We're pleased and honored to be selected as the top vendor by the industry."

Kent Gale, KLAS' Executive Director of Market Intelligence remarked, "Epic
holds the two longest streaks in the KLAS Top 20, with four years as Best
Overall and four years as Best in KLAS for EMR." Gale continued, "When you
talk to healthcare professionals and CIOs all day like I do, you realize the strength of that accomplishment."
