BioDiagnostics is first seed-testing lab to gain new accreditation

River Falls, Wis. -- BioDiagnostics, Inc., has become is the first seed lab in the United States to earn approval in the new USA Accredited Seed Lab (ASL) program, administered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the company reported Tuesday.
BioDiagnostics provides genetic purity and standard germination testing services.
The ASL Program is a voluntary, user-fee service available to seed testing laboratories. Seed testing laboratories, which meet all requirements of the program and pass a USDA Process Verified Program Audit, can represent themselves as USA Accredited Seed Laboratories.
