Menards picks Teradata technology

Eau Claire, Wis -- Home improvement retailer Menards has selected a series of technology solutions from Teradata, a division of NCR Corp., the company said Wednesday.
Menards deployed a Teradata Data Warehouse, Teradata Retail Decisions software and the Teradata Retail Logical Date Model.
Menards previously used a series of data marts that could not provide the information business users were demanding and often supplied inaccurate or out-of-date information, according to the company.
