ABC Computers receives $250,000 tax credit for expansion

Madison, Wis. – Waupaca-based ABC Computers will receive $250,000 in tax credits to build a new facility that is expected to create 18 jobs. The tax credits were announced by Gov. Jim Doyle, and are granted through the Northeast Wisconsin Regional Economic Partnership (NEWREP) Technology Zone.

ABC Computers is Wisconsin's largest provider of sourced-based accounting systems. It will invest $1.8 million to construct and equip a new facility. The expansion is expected to create up to 18 new jobs while retaining 19 others.

The NEWREP Technology Zone provides incentives for high-tech growth in engineering/design, electronics, and wood/forestry-related products, among others. The NEWREP Technology Zone includes the counties of Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago.
