RedPrairie to gain wider reach with acquisition

Milwaukee, Wis. — RedPrairie Corporation has agreed to buy a global supply-chain management company, MARC Global Holdings Inc., extending its reach in the Asia Pacific region as well as the U.S. and Europe.

The two firms are to begin combining operations in February and will reportedly have 738 employees at 21 locations; late last year RedPrairie had 650.

RedPrairie makes software for supply-chain management and is based in Waukesha. Last week it made a separate acquisition announcement:
