Milwaukee, Wis.Fiserv Inc. said it has acquired insurance software from CT Insurance Services and financial training products from CCH Wall Street, which it plans to bring in line with its existing offerings.

Web-based software that can submit licensing and registration filings electronically, and exam prep products for the NASD, a test for securities professionals, will be added to Fiserv's RegEd business unit in Morrisville, North Carolina. Debra Freitag, general manager of CT Insurance Services, will become RegEd's executive vice president of business development.

"By combining the CT Insurance Services and Financial Training solutions with the strong offerings of RegEd, we will provide the most comprehensive training, licensing, registration and compliance offerings available in the industry," Freitag said in a press release.

Both acquisitions were owned by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
