Tech council adds eight to board of directors

Madison, Wis. — The Wisconsin Technology Council, a policy advisor to the governor and the legislature with statewide membership arms, has announced eight additions to its board of directors.

The new members have three-year terms and will join a board that includes more than three dozen members of the Wisconsin business technology community. Electees include four technology organization leaders:

• Eric Apfelbach, president and CEO of Virent Energy Systems

• Neil Bretl, president and owner of Super Group Outdoors Corp. and Hunting Science

• Kevin Conroy, president and CEO of Third Wave Technologies

• Bruce Siebold, director of Phillips Plastics Corporation Technology Center

And four attorneys and accountants:

• Russell Barron, partner with Foley & Lardner

• Michael Skindrud, attorney with La Follette, Godfrey & Kahn

• Mark Ehrmann, partner with Quarles & Brady

• Deron Curliss, CPA and partner with Grant Thornton,
