VanderSanden appointed president of AT&T Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wis. - Scott VanderSanden, who has served as vice president of regulatory affairs for AT&T Wisconsin since 2001, has been appointed president of AT&T Wisconsin, the company announced.

VanderSanden, who has been with AT&T for 17 years, is credited with leading AT&T Wisconsin's most important regulatory initiatives, including the company's bid to win state approval to offer long-distance service. He also directed the company's activities in a major wholesale pricing review by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.

A Chicago native who holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, VanderSanden said his top priority as president would be the Wisconsin implementation of Project Lightspeed, the company's high-speed Internet initiative, and the launch of U-verse, a new Internet-protocol video service.
