Madison, Wis. - A Madisonian with a background in city and state government is joining a new government relations organization that is working to attract federal grant money for start-up bioscience and technology companies in Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin lobbying firm
Hamilton Consulting Group has added Henry Sanders, Jr. to its organization. Sanders will focus on Hamilton's new government relations venture, hamilton.gsp, which was created in collaboration with the national economic development agency
GSP Consulting.
The objective of hamilton.gsp is to help more state businesses gain access the $360 billion in research, development, and technology procurement that the federal government awards on an annual basis.
Sanders is the founder and former president of the
Madison Area Growth Network, former vice chairman of the
Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, and a former board member of the
Urban League of Greater Madison.
