Online services firm acquired by Fiserv

Brookfield, Wis. - Fiserv Inc., a Wisconsin-based information-management firm, has acquired the Atlanta-based BancIntelligence for an undisclosed price.

BancIntelligence provides online tools, analysis, and statistical information to financial institutions. Its capabilities will be rolled into Fiserv's bank and credit union product portfolio, according to Norm Balthasar, senior executive vice president and chief operating officer for Fiserv.

Fiserv, which offers technology and service solutions, has acquired more than 140 organizations since its founding in 1984. The company employs 23,000 people at 261 locations worldwide, and reported $4.5 billion in revenue and $450 million in earnings in 2006.
