Cambridge Major Laboratories, a chemistry outsourcing partner to leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, has announced the appointment of University of Illinois professor
John Hartwig as scientific advisor.
The company said Hartwig's expertise in chemistry will play a vital role in advancing its development of variety of chemical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Hartwig, who received his bachelor's degree from
Princeton University in 1986 and his Ph.D. from the
University of California-Berkeley in 1990, joins other academics as part of Cambridge Major's international scientific advisory team.
