NuEdge Improves Marketing Automation

MILWAUKEE--NuEdge Systems, an Experian company providing marketing automation solutions, today introduced NuEdge Suite 3.0.

NuEdge Suite allows companies to respond to the increasing complexity of consumer interactions: fickle buying patterns, multi-channel purchases and intense competition. NuEdge Suite 3.0 features:

A data mart built from unlimited sources of customer information, including customer accounts, teller/POS interfaces, Web sites, call centers and more.

Predictive modeling technology and analytical templates provide an approach to capturing relevant customer information.

NuEdge Suite delivers vertically specific and customizable report formats, giving marketers a new tool for sharing customer information across the organization to drive broader business initiatives, such as product development and expansion strategies.

"Companies in all industries are competing for a limited pool of dollars," said Donald W. Layden, Jr., president of NuEdge Systems. "We are committed to giving our customers an improved capacity to capture those dollars."

NuEdge Suite runs on Microsoft Windows and can be configured to support any of the leading ODBC-compliant databases including SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Sybase and DB2. It is available now from the company's direct sales force and through channel partners, including Experian North America and Metavante Corporation.

The company, founded in 1989, has more than 90 employees and is based in Milwaukee, Wis., with an office in Denver, Colo.

Another area of marketing automation is online ad production. When I worked for Toyota GB, they had a system called Brandfast. This system allowed them to create all of the marketing collateral on demand.

A great example of how software can reduce marketing costs and increase marketing efficiency...
