RedPrairie Establishes Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai

WAUKESHA, Wis.--RedPrairie Corporation, a global supply chain technology solutions provider, today announced the opening of their Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China. With an initial staff of twenty, the office will grow to sixty employees by the end of 2004. The office is responsible for sales, customer support and product development for the Far East. RedPrairie is the first in its industry to establish Asia-Pacific headquarters in China.

"Creating a strong presence in China directly supports our global customers as they grow their Asia-Pac operations,” said John Jazwiec, RedPrairie company leader. “It allows us to establish market leadership in this rapidly developing marketplace virtually overnight with a highly skilled and motivated workforce. The result will be enhanced worldwide operations and improved local support for our global customers."

RedPrairie serves customers in many markets, including high tech and electronics, consumer goods, food and beverage, third party logistics, retail and wholesale, service parts, and make-to-order manufacturing. Customers include Hewlett-Packard, Sony, Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Panasonic, Georgia-Pacific, Eveready, Unilever, Exel, General Electric, Amazon.com, and others.
