GWC Technologies chooses Indian distributor

Madison, Wis. - GWC Technologies, a Madison-based maker of life-science analysis systems, has reached an agreement with an Indian healthcare company to be its exclusive distributor of label-free array systems in India.

The partnership with Biotron Healthcare, which has eight sales offices in addition to its Mumbai headquarters, will seek to take advantage of its reach across the Indian subcontinent and its ability to provide technical service and support.

Label-free arrays, previously considered niche products, are increasingly important in proteomics analysis, drug discovery research, and diagnostics development.

More than half of GWC's sales are exports, and its products are used in more than a dozen countries.
