TeraMedica partners with Hyland Software for content management

Milwaukee, Wis. — TeraMedica Healthcare Technology (more articles) announced today that it is partnering with Hyland Software. TeraMedica makes software that manages the storage and distribution of digital medical images, including interfaces with different devices, while Hyland makes content-management software that handles documents, images, workflow, records, and integration with line-of-business applications.
Hyland is headquartered in Ohio, and its flagship product is named OnBase. Milwaukee-based TeraMedica's Evercore software has been integrated with OnBase and the resulting combination is meant to provide a single point of access for images such as X-rays and MRIs as well as other data such as reports, all through the same electronic medical record.
