Broadcast Interactive Media lands major-market clients

Madison, Wis. - The Madison-based Broadcast Interactive Media has landed some major-market clients as it continues to develop web content for American television and radio stations, according to a report in The Capital Times.

BIM, which already served NBC Chicago, has announced that NBC stations in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Hartford, Conn., and San Diego now are using its products.

The company, which employs 40 people in the Network 222 building, uses the on-demand content provider Clickability, Inc. as an exclusive partner to offer content-management systems to more than 150 television and radio station nationwide.

Timur Yarnall, president and CEO of BIM, told The Capital Times that television stations want flexibility and control over their Websites, but don't want to build them internally.

Yarnall called the NBC Chicago launch and the entire NBC project a “tremendous step” for BIM, which views its model as the future of local digital media.
