Utah hospital rolls out open-source EHR

BLANDING, UT – Blue Mountain Hospital, an 11-bed hospital in Blanding, Utah, plans to implement a new electronic health record designed to automate operations and improve quality of care.
“Even though we are a small hospital, we believe that our patients deserve the best of care,” said Lorin MacKay, the hospital's chief executive officer. “With the national focus on health technology to improve the healthcare system, Blue Mountain is proud to be one of the few hospitals in the U.S. to implement an EHR system.
