API’s labor resource management impacts 2,500 hospital employees

Hartford, Wis. -- API Software, Inc. announced today Winchester Hospital in Winchester, Mass. plans to implement the majority of API’s suite of labor resource management solutions throughout the entire community hospital. The solution will include Payrollmation time and attendance, ActiveStaffer staff scheduling, EdTrack education management and Navigator human resources software.

The hospital is adopting the applications in hopes of automating manual processes, tracking and measuring productivity in real time, improving information flow to managers and more efficiently capturing data for Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations staffing standards. Winchester Hospital is anticipating process improvements.

“API’s automation will significantly reduce the time to review, edit and approve time cards. This automation will free managers from the manual processes and allow them to do their job – manage,” said Peter Ferrari, director of information technology for Winchester Hospital.

Payrollmation is designed to automate and simplify the time and attendance data collection and calculation process. ActiveStaffer simplifies employee scheduling. Navigator automates the process of obtaining, tracking, updating and managing employee information. By maintaining a detailed database of all employee education information, EdTrack monitors employee education requirements and scheduling of classes.

Hartford-based API is a provider of time and attendance, staffing/scheduling, payroll, human resource, productivity management, education tracking and access control software for health care organizations.
