Marketing magazine gives Firstlogic CRM award

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Information-quality company Firstlogic announced last Wednesday that Customer Interaction Solutions magazine has given its software a CRM Excellence Award.

Firstlogic’s Information Quality Suite helps cleanse and standardize customer and operational data. At its core, it builds relationships between databases so that data on a single customer can be coordinated from different sources.

The magazine, published by Technology Marketing Corporation, based the award on technological innovation in customer relationship management, including feature sets and the overall ability to help businesses interact with customers.

"Customer Interaction Solutions magazine implemented the CRM Excellence Awards as a way of commending the companies that have proven to be true CRM partners to their customers and clients," said Nadji Tehrani, founder and chairman of TMC.

Firstlogic claims Saab Cars USA, the American subsidiary of the European automobile manufacturer, as a client, and said it has helped Saab better use its customer lists so that it did not have to buy as much information about its own customers from other sources.

"The success of any CRM initiative -- large or small -- is directly proportional to the quality of the data contained in the system,” said Art Petty, Firstlogic’s vice president of marketing. “It is critical for organizations with CRM initiatives underway to sustain a commitment to managing data quality over time and adjust monitoring and cleansing processes to changes in the CRM system as well as all underlying systems,"

The award appears in the June issue of Customer Interaction Solutions.
