Fiserv announces Disaster Recovery Services

BROOKFIELD, Wis.— Fiserv Imagesoft, a unit of Fiserv, Inc., has developed a new disaster recovery services offering for its clients that have licensed the Nautilus image-enabled enterprise content management suite.

The new multiple-option service is designed to ensure that financial institutions can recover their processing function quickly, without interruption, after virtually any hardware, software or operational malfunction associated with their Nautilus system.

Nautilus Disaster Recovery Services supports a variety of databases and software, such as MS SQL 7 or higher and Veritas backup software, to ensure data validity as well as uninterrupted processing operations.

“Whether it’s a catastrophic disaster such as 9/11 or a simple human error, the range of situations possible today that can adversely affect a financial institution’s processing ability is huge,” said Ron Thompson, president of Fiserv Imagesoft. “With Nautilus Disaster Recovery Services, our customers have the comfort to know that their systems are being managed by experts that intimately understand the system, as well as the critical business needs it serves.”

The service can be tailored to individual financial institutions, with options available from basic services, assisted services and hosted services.

Fiserv Imagesoft, a unit of Brookfield-based Fiserv, Inc., is located in Lake Mary, Fla. The company has been providing imaging solutions to the financial services industry since 1989.
